Backstop & Safety Netting Installation in Pacific Grove
Judge Netting recently partnered with the City of Pacific Grove to upgrade the backstop at a facility located on 17 Mile Drive. Over the course of one week, we removed the deteriorating chain-link backstop, which had been damaged by the ocean air, and replaced it with a modern netting system supported by black-painted steel poles and angled outriggers. This upgrade not only improved the functionality and durability of the backstop but also enhanced the overall aesthetics of the facility.
Overcoming Challenges with Precision
This project presented two key challenges: drilling through rough terrain and fitting the new netting design to match some of the existing structure’s measurements. Our team tackled these obstacles by using specialized augers to excavate the more difficult holes. In addition, we made on-site fabrication adjustments to ensure a perfect fit, ensuring that the final installation maintained both the safety and aesthetic standards required.
